Finance companies will credit check each application before they decide on whether you can have finance. They will usually look back around 6 years into your personal credit history. What makes your credit history better is if you have lived in the same address 3 years or longer if you are on the voter’s role. If you have no late or missed payments all of this will work in your favour.
